Hello and welcome to my website.
My name is Doug Whincup and I live in Yorkshire, England. For many years now I have been fascinated with photography, and I recently decided to put this website together to display some of my work. Please have a good look around. My main interest is landscape and nature photography, but I am also fascinated by the simple interaction of forms, shapes and light and try to convey as much of this as possible in my images.
	In the Gallery pages you will find images from some of my travels from places both close to home and around the globe, and a selection of miscellaneous images from macros to abstracts. These will be updated on a regular basis with new photographs so please do return. I am not a professional photographer (unfortunately!), nor is this a professional website, but I hope that you like some of my photographs.
